About me

I was born in England and live in Berlin. I worked as an English teacher in Poznan (Poland), Baku (Azerbaijan) and Quito (Ecuador) all the while working on extracurricular photography projects. In 2003 I set up as a freelance photographer in England and worked regularly for newspapers in London from 2004 to 2016. Then I began learning how to design and make stained glass windows, which led to a commission to create a window for William Morris House, Wimbledon. At the time I was also leading regular guided tours at Southside House, London. I have, together with Katja Spitzer researched, written and illustrated two books for children: Genial! 16 Erfinderinnen und Ihre Geschichten (Jacoby & Stuart, 2025); Die Abenteuer der ersten Pilotinnen (Tulipan, 2026).
